Online Reservations Administration Maine Atlantic Aviation (MAA) An aviation company located at Knox County Regional airport came to Pelican looking for a website as they were splitting from their parent company. MAA wanted the ability to allow online reservations for the flights they provide to the island communities off the coast of Maine. The company is also an FBO (Fixed Base Operator) which provides a range of services to transient aircraft arriving at RKD and wanted the ability for pilots and charter companies to pre-arrange services via their website. Pelican Consulting took to the sky and came up with a professional-looking website for a fraction of what others would charge along with a dynamic, back-end database system that allowed for booking of flights and FBO services. MAA also wanted the ability to show their flight-seeing routes up and down the midcoast but had none of their maps digitized. Pelican took the aeronautical charts, digitized them and then overlayed the routes of the flight-seeing tours and optimized them for viewing over the web. Pelican went to MAA's hanger at Knox County and setup their client computers to check various e-mail accounts that the company requested, all for a minimal final cost allowing this company to spread their own wings.   Past Client
